Confessions at Divine
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
The Sacrament of Holy Confession is available at Divine.
Also known as the healing Sacrament, the Sacrament of confession heals our brokenness and spiritual blindness caused by our sinful nature. As it is important for one to care for his/hers physical and mental well-being, it is yet even more important to care for one’s spiritual being.
Our sinful actions created through deeds, thoughts, and words cause psychological and physical trauma to ourselves and to others. This Holy sacrament purifies and strengthens one in virtue to walk in the light of Christ.
Confessions are available by appointment only, any time, any day!
The damage of our sins even though human, has the power to destroy individuals, families, relationships, and even parts of society.
It is important to do a very thorough study of ourselves, known as the study of conscience. This allows us to purify ourselves from all venial and mortal sins and to receive graces evermore graces from God for a new conversion and a new beginning.
The Fathers at Divine offer private confession by appointment, otherwise, confessions are available on our last Sunday of the Month Pilgrimage. To prepare your confession here is a guide to the study of conscience to help you do a holy and thorough confession.
To make an appointment for confession, please contact us or send us an email to organize a suitable time.

God is not interested in the physical attitude of prayer. It doesn’t make any difference in what horizontal, vertical, or oblong direction your carcass happens to be; if your soul is not down before God, you are not praying. Your body can be in any condition, but if your soul is bold, defiant against God, you know nothing about prayer.
